Fort Noble is pleased to provide combination trips on the Adirondack Scenic Railway. We provide both hiking and canoeing in combination with a ride on the Adirondack Scenic Railway.
First you ride the railway to a secluded stop in the Adirondack Mountains.
Then, a short Carry to the river followed by a paddle up the river to a wilderness lake. Lunch at the lake followed by a return to be picked up by the train. Or, if you like to hike, a short walk to a cascading waterfall, a picnic lunch and then return for pick-up by the train.
This is a truly spectacular wilderness setting. You will see Beaver Lodges, an Adirondack Cranberry Bog, and there are many types of wildlife in the area.
